We will increase the resistance from street to street :Demirtaş
AMED (DİHA) - HDP (Peoples' Democratic Party) co-chair Selahattin Demirtaş had a speech in front of thousands citizens who protests detentions of co-mayors Kışanak and Anlı in spite of prevention in Amed."there was neither phone nor internet connection in 90s .We will organized from street to street. Everyone is chair person of HDP.We will show them how we don't bow to fascism" said Demirtaş.
The protest for detentions of Amed Municipality co-mayors Gültan Kışanak and Fırat Anlı is continues. Thousands gathered in front of DBP (Democratic Regions Party) Rezan (Bağlar) district organization building for protesting detentions and occupation of town hall. DTK (Democratic Society Congress) co-chair Leyla Güven , HDP co-chair Selahattin Demirtaş, DBP co-chairs Sebahat Tuncel and Kamuran Yüksek, HDP group deputy co-chairs Çağla Demirel and İdris Baluken,HDP deputies,NGO's delegates also are participating the demonstration. People filled the area "We will win by resisting","Murderer and robber AKP", "Municipalities belong to peoples and let be!" chanted with one voice.
People "People of Amed are proud of you!" chanted when Demirtaş arrived the area.
"Resisting against injustice is a right!"
DBP co-chair Sebahat Tuncel had the floor and "cruelty will be defeated by Kurdish People's resistance.They are looking forward for a ethnic cleansing against Kurds.They are unlawfully appointing trustee to our municipality and arresting our mayors. Then Resistance against injustice is a right!" said.
'You all saw how they attacked women'
Tuncel continued " Our associate Gültan Kışanak went to Coup Comission and criticized pro-coup mindest.She disclosed the feature of AKP on coup. She never bow to cruelty and she will not. Their prime target is against women's liberation movement .You all saw how they attacked women on the streets.You all saw how they took into custody Ayla Akat and torched her.But none of us will bow to despotism.

HDP co-chair Demirtaş "We are not facing the lawlessness first time. İt is happening since a century. They say "Mosul should govern by its people" but they don't let Cizre,Şırnak people govern themselves.This people have right of self government .Erdoğan never won local elections for Amed Municipality and now he is seizing illegally. They are also preparing for appoint trustee to Van and Mardin Municipalities. You will be named usurper with this policies.
"The best method they know is robbery"
We had local election with unequal condition against AKP.We won with landslide victory in spite of unequal conditions. But they don't accept the result nor respect. They know that they cannot win election under any condition. Therefore they are using the best method they know : Robbery.
