MÊRDÎN (DİHA) - State forces conducted raids on houses in the Savur district of Mardin. Five citizens, including our reporter Abdulkadir Turay and deputy mayor have been detained.
State forces conducted raids on houses in the Ewina (Sürgücü) and Şutê neighborhoods of Mêrdîn’s (Mardin) Stewrê (Savur) district. Our reporter Abdulkadir Turay, deputy mayor Osman OK, the Democratic Regions Party (DBP) members Mehmet Sait Tuncer, Şakir Turan and Yusuf Arat have been detained.
As no information has been obtained the reason of detention, the detainees were taken to District Gendarmerie Station.
