Nuray Gedik, the mother of Hasan Ferit Gedik, who was killed in Istanbul, Maltepe during a walk organized during the Gezi Park resistance said “As a labourer mother and woman, we say that there can be no revolution without women. Mothers and women need to fight together as there is no rights or law in Turkey. My son has had 23 hearings where there was 22 accused people but now there is only 8 people. They are being discharged one by one but we will never give up. We will continue on our fight for justice. There will be no justice in Turkey as long as the AKP mentality remains. Therefore we need to fight to make justice as we remain along mothers in Kurdistan."
