25 cooperatives established in Cizîre Canton

TIRBESPIYÊ (DİHA) – Agriculture Institution of Cizîre Canton has recently started establishin agriculture cooperatives in the canton.
So far, 25 cooperatives were established and one of them, the Star Cooperative, belongs to women. The instituion also noted that only in Tirbespiyê 700 people became members in the cooperatives. In his interview with ANHA, Mesûd Ferhan, an excutive member of the institution, stressed that the institution aims to organize agriculture in a communal way free from the old Baathist Regime's policies. With these cooperatives, we also aim to establish joint life of peoples in the region based on communal solidarity.
