NEWS CENTER (DİHA) - Federal Kurdistan Region started exporting crude oil via the Turkey's port of Ceyhan, Turkish Energy Minister Taner Yildiz said in a press statement.

The first 1 million barrel cargo of piped oil was loading in Ceyhan, where around 2.5 million barrels of Kurdish crude has been stored, Yildiz told. An industry source said the tanker was expected to depart late on Thursday. Kurdistan Regional Government sent 2.5 million barrels of oil into storage tanks at Ceyhan through a new KRG-built pipeline in which crude flow started last December.
