Operations affect stockbreeding negatively
It is mostly the citizens who make living on stockbreeding affected negatively from operations launched by Turkish Armed Forces (TSK). Animal breeders saying that they could not feed their animals on pasture, told that '' Our only means of subsistence is stockbreeding and transhumance. We are neither ascending to rural nor to our uplands. operation should be ceased.''

Production of Ceki named basket which is used in carrying fruits, and source of livelihood for low income families in Mersin, is to be banned by regulations enacted in the context of accordance with EU. Families who make living on ceki say that ' what people do if they are left unemployed. Should we do theft'.

Beekeepers are worrying about going to the region in the summer season
Beekeepers who take their bees to the cities in the southeast region to increase the yield are worrying about increasing operations. Stating that they hesitate to go to the region, beekeepers, say that '' They did not allow us to bring our animals to the places we want in the period of clashes. If again bans and restrictions are introduced we will quit the business.''

'' Unemployers of season of winter'' who take risk of being crippled and dying for collecting 'gulik, a kind of vegetable, because of mines in the mountains, are striving to sustain their lives by selling these guliks in the center of the city.

I grind my troubles with saw for 33 years!
74 year old Tahir Umdu who is known as a saw- grinder in Van, although he is not making money as much as that in past continue to maintain his occupation for 33 years. Stating that he does not see saw-grinder only as a job, Umdu; said that ''I calm down by grinding my troubles laden on me with years as I grind saw.''

Director of Adana Transporters Association Seyfi Zeper, who said that more than 450 thousand highway transportation workers would be unemployed with the new Regulations of Highway Transportation prepared by the Ministry of Communications, said: "People are left unemployed by the hands of the state.
