Police kicked Remziye Bor saying “I’m pregnant, don’t hit me”

VAN (DİHA) - In Xaçort neighborhood of Wan, 7 months pregnant Remziye Bor who was raked by special operations police, was kicked after she fell down while saying “I’m pregnant, don’t hit me.”

Treatment of Remziye Bor and her baby, raked by special operations police in Xaçort (Hacıbekir) neighborhood of central district Rêyan Armûş (İpekyolu) in Wan (Van) under intensive care unit, continues. Zübercat Kameri, her mother who has gone to see her, said : “The police lies by saying there was guerilla inside. From what my daughter told me they opened fire just as they entered the house. They sprayed with bullets.” Mahsuma Kameri, Bor’s sister who has also gone to see her, narrated her words: “I was sitting at home. Suddenly a shot came. After the shot they entered the house by breaking the door. Without asking anything I supposed it was a bomb explosed. After that they shot me in the back. At that time I was conscious. When they shot me and I said I’m pregnant, they started to kick me again.” Kameri told that her sister was registered in hospital with another person’s identity card who is wanted in “being member of organization”.

Bor’s lawyer Necmettin Çoruh said that it will be denunciated against the police. He added that security units give contradictory information about the case, and he emphasized that it is being tried to cover up the case.
