DİYARBAKIR (DİHA) – DBP (Democratic Regions Party) Diyarbakır co-chair Ali Şimşek has been arrested.

DBP Diyarbakır co-chair Ali Şimşek, one of 3 Kurdish politicians who had been taken into custody after the raid on April 14 in DBP Diyarbakır Provincial Directorate and Kayapınar headquarter, was referred to court for arrest. Şimşek has been arrested on charges of “being member of organization” by the court on duty.

DBP Kayapınar co-chairs Sevim Adsoy and Mustafa Uyguner also had been arrested who were detained with Şimşek.
