“Resisting youth are children of whom forced to eat feces”

BATMAN (DİHA) – Celal Başlangıç (journalist-author) who has spoken in “War, society and women in the problematic of migration” themed panel, organized in Batman, emphasized that the resisting youth are children of the ones who were forced to eat feces in 90s. On the other hand Sibel Özbudun (academic-author) remarked that women policies of AKP appears as “body policies” and said that women deaths have increased by the war.

With the attend of Sibel Özbudun (academic-author) and Celal Başlangıç (journalist-author) “War, society and women in the problematic of migration” themed panel has been organized by Eğitim-Sen Batman Branch in Batman. HDP (Peoples’ Democratic Party)Batman deputies Ayşe Acar Başaran, Saadet Becerikli, Eğitim-Sen, DBP (Democratic Regions Party), members and delegates of KJA (Free Women Congress) and large number of people participated in the panel. Moderated by Eğitim-Sen member Fehmiye Baskın, Başlangıç said that people who witnessed evacuation of villages in 90s are today witnessing cities being burned, people being forced to migrate. He also said “We came to these days from the discussion of there is no Kurd” and added “The sign of ongoing war today, was given in the MGK (National Security Council) meeting on 30th October, 2014 and this was the break point. In this meeting war decision was fully taken.”


Remarking ongoing pressure on DİHA reporters and free media foundations, Başlangıç said that it is being prevented to relay information to West coast and to publicise what happens in the region.
