6 custodies and 12 arrests in 4 cities
NEWS CENTER (DİHA) - In 4 cities where political genocide operations continue, while 3 of whom are children 6 people have been detained, 12 of 21 people had been taken into custody weekdays have been arrested.
In the Curnê Reş (Hilvan) district of Riha (Urfa), a citizen named İbrahim Demir has been detained in night raid conducted to his house. Demir has been taken to District Police Department while allegation of detention couldn’t be learned.
5 custodies in Van
3 of whom are children 5 people have been detained in the concurrent house raids made by several police in the Kurubaş neighborhood of central district Artemêrt (Edremit), Wan (Van). M.D. (15), A.Ş. (16), Y.K. (16), Serhat Direk and Tajdin Direk have been taken to Van Police Department whose allegation of detention couldn’t be learned.
5 arrests in İstanbul
3 of whom are university students 5 people were arrested and sent to jail after testifying, by İstanbul 7th Criminal Court of Peace where they were referred on charges of “being member of organization”.
7 arrests in Balıkesir
Detained in the house raids made on April 12 in Balıkesir center and it’s districts Bandırma and Edremit, 16 people including HDP Edremit District co-chair Hürriyet Kızıl and Balıkesir University students were taken to the courthouse after procedures at police station yesterday. 1 of 16 people have been released just as 15 of them have been referred to court for arrest.
After the testimonies in the court 8 people have been released just as 7 people including Kızıl have been arrested on charges of “being member of YDG-H”.
