The last report of Cizre massacre.
ŞİRNAK (DİHA) - Inside the city of Cizre, among the 138 people trapped in 3 buildings, 39 of the injured have died. After the organized attack of the state forces, 70 corpses have been taken out by ambulances of Cizre municipality. The total number of such corpses, transfered to the mortuaries of Urfa, Mardin and Silopi, has climbed to 71. Including those, 155 people have died in Cizre by the state forces attack. While getting clear information on the ground is not possible, it came out that the state has a new strategy for influencing the public opinion, giving the numbers "controlled and manipulated".
Entering the 60th day of martial law in Cizre, still no accurate information can be reached about the state forces operation against the 3 basements where injured were found. According to the last information provided by injured people inside the 3 basements (2 in Cudi and 1 in Sur neighborhoods), 138 people in total have been there, 39 of whom have died. After the attack of the state forces, the last 4 days 70 dead people have been taken out by municipal ambulances.

In the so called "savagery basement", found in Bostanci st., Cudi neighborhood, where the upper floors have collapsed, 31 people in total were found (15 injured, 7 dead), according to the last time they were able to contact, which was January 31st. Inside the second savagery basement, at Narin st., 62 people in total were found (52 injured, 10 dead). In the third basement, at Sur neighborhood, from total 45 people 22 lost their lives. In total, 39, of the 138 found in the 3 buildings, died and in the area, the last 4 days, 70 dead bodies have been taken to the public hospital of Cizre. The corpses have been transfered to Urfa (28), to Mardin Artuklu Public hospital (7) and to Habur border gate in Silopi (36). Because the occupation of Cizre public hospital by police continues, there is no information about the existence of more corpses in the hospital.
Babies were killed.
The people of Cizre, after insisting on self-administration, have been attacked since 2 months by the state forces, and 155 people lost their lives. Among the dead, were also children; Miray 3 months old, 2 unborn in 7 months pregnancy and 3 more babies, one of who was 8 months old. But, due to the policy of the state, again there is no accurate information.

Because, the state officials for hiding the massacre, were giving information different and contradictory to each other, the Prime Ministry, for fear of public reaction, took control of the situation, deciding to publish the information about casualties of civilians, police, soldiers "controlled and manipulated". According to the Cumhuriyet newspaper, officials from the Security General Directorate of the Prime Ministry, the Army General Staff, the Press release General Directorate, together with senior officials of TRT (Turkish public radio-television) and Anadolu news agency, participated in a meeting where they decided which way to give the news related to the state forces operation. Taking this decision, the suspicions, of hiding the scale of the massacre and giving the number of casualties in pieces, are confirmed.
