Civilian shot by police in Cizre dies

ŞIRNAK (DİHA) - In the 22nd day of the onslaught against popular self-rule resistance, state forces continue terrorizing people under an uninterrupted aggression in Şırnak's Cizre district.
Civilian Kazım Tong who had been shot by a police bullet in the head in Nur neighborhood on 30 December, has lost his life at a private hospital in Batman where he had been receiving treatment since.
Tong's body has been taken to Batman Regional Hospital for a post-mortem examination. The man will later be taken to his hometown, Şırnak's Uludere district where he will be laid to rest.
