Suicide attacks in Qamishlo: Casualties reported
QAMISHLO (DİHA) - Three simultaneous suicide attacks have been carried out in Qamishlo city of West Kurdistan, casualties and injuries reported.
At the evening hours, three simultaneous suicide attacks hit Qamishlo city of West Kurdistan (Rojava). The first three suicide attacks at three restaurants left casualties and injuries reported, according to the eyewitnesses. The explosions appeared to have been suicide bombs. The scale of the explosions is not yet known but there was noticeable material damage in the market as a result.
Call for blood donation
Casualties and injuries reported were brought to the nearby hospitals while Cizîrê Canton Health Council called for urgent blood donation.
4th suicide bomber killed
Following the explosions, Asayesh (security) members in the city took extraordinary safety measures and inhibited another attack. A suicide bomber with motorbike was noticed and killed by the security members.
