Two more civilians massacred by soldiers in Cizre
ŞIRNAK (DİHA) - Two people who were shot and wounded by soldiers in Cizre yesterday evening, have lost their lives.
In Cizre district of Şırnak where a state of siege continues in its 12th day, Abdulmecit Yanık and Hacı Özdal were shot by soldiers that attempted to infiltrate into Yafes neighborhood through Ser Bane Cirf hill yesterday evening.
Yanık and Özdal got heavily wounded and could be taken to hospital hours later due to continued attacks by state forces. Both have lost their lives Friday morning. Their bodies have been sent to Şırnak State Hospital's morgue.
Halil Uzun, who was also wounded in the same attack, remains under treatment at hospital.
Hacı Özdal, father of three, had lost his brother Abdullah Özdal in another attack by state forces in Cizre three months ago.
Abdulmecit Yanık, on the other hand, is brother of Davut Yanık who also got wounded in the same street recently.
