Urfa Governor: Attack was suicide bomber
URFA (DİHA) - Urfa Governor İzzettin Küçük made a statement on the bomb attack targeting Socialist Youth Associations Federation (SGDF) youth in Suruç, and said that a suicide bomber carried out the attack.
Urfa Governor Küçük confirmed that a suicide bomber carried out that attack, and declared the number of casualties to be 28. The Governor said that security forces were trying to identify the identity and age of the attacker, and the results of their investigation would be publicized as soon us a conclusion was reached.
Küçük noted that there have not been any arrests with regards to the explosion so far.
