BDP former district chair jailed in Van
VAN (DİHA) - Former chair of BDP (Peace and Democracy Party) branch in Muradiye district of Van has been arrested.
Muradiye former district chair Vahap Aslan who had been detained in Çaldıran district on Saturday was referred to courthouse after giving his statement at district police headquarters yesterday.
Upon the prosecutor's demand of arrest, Aslan was remanded in custody and sent to Van F Type Closed Prison on charges of "membership to a terrorist organization".
