House raids in Batman: 5 in custody
BATMAN (DİHA) - Five persons have been detained in house raids early this morning in Batman province on grounds of participating Kobanê protests, 15 February protests at anniversary of Öcalan’s capture, and Newroz celebrations.
Police carried out house raids in different neighbourhoods of Batman this morning. 5 persons, Yusuf Yalçın, İdris Yelboğa, Fırat İvledi, Yusuf Karaman and Mehmet Aliak, have been detained on the grounds of participating the 6-8 October Kobanê protests, 15 February protests and Newroz celebrations.
The detainees have reportedly been taken to police headquarters in Batman following the health check in the hospital.
