Daesh massacres 3,000 over past year

NEWS CENTER (DİHA) - Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that Daesh massacred at least 3 thousand people in Syria over the past year.

Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) reported that Daesh massacred at least 3 thousand people in Syria over the past year, and the majority of these civilians were women and civilians.

SOHR reported that Daesh massacred 3 thousand and 27 people in Syria between June 29, 2014 and June 29, 2015. 1 thousand 787 of these civilians were civilians and 74 were children, according to the information SOHR provided.

Approximately half of the massacred civilians belonged to the Sunni Şaitat tribe and the death toll included the people Daesh killed in Kobanê this week.

SOHR also reported that Daesh executed 143 of its members and more than 8 thousand gangs died in clashes and bombardments over the past year.
