YPG Media Center stated that ISIS gangs attempted another attack from the west near the village of Şexler a Jorin this morning. YPG/YPJ quickly encircled the gangs who crossed Euphrates River by boats and the clashes here continue.
YPG Media Center stated that YPG/YPJ forces also encircled ISIS gangs in four different locations within the city center and the clashes have been continuing since yesterday. YPG/YPJ forces destroyed 2 vehicles and seized another 2 as well as large amounts of guns and ammunition. 3 YPG/YPJ fighters lost their lives during the clashes in Kobanê city center.
Attack attempt from western Kobanê
YPG said that ISIS gangs attempted another attack from the west near the village of Şexler a Jorin this morning. YPG/YPJ quickly encircled the gangs who crossed Euphrates River by boats and the clashes here continue.
YPG Media Center stated ISIS gangs attacked Şehîd Xabur hill from two different directions and targeted Mecmela Gazê region from 3 different locations, and the clashes to the south of Kobanê continue. Although the number of people who died and got injured during these clashes is not determined yet, YPG/YPJ forces killed at least 6 gang members and seized large amounts of guns and ammunitions.
One YPG/YPJ fighter and one Şemsî Şîmal warrior were martyred during these clashes, and 3 YPG/YPJ forces died during the clashes in the village of Berxbatan yesterday.
