People strikes back against femicide perpetrator
ADANA (DİHA) - Neighborhood residents in Turkey's southern city of Adana beat a man nearly to death after he shot his wife to death last night.
Late last night, 53-year-old Aslan Gürbüz shot and killed his wife, 41-year-old Saadet Dündar, in the city of Adana. The couple had a religious, rather than a legal, marriage. When neighborhood residents learned of the killing, they poured into the streets of the Seyhan district. Police rescued the killer, who was severely beaten.
She was taken to a hospital with severe wounds, but died there. Meanwhile, Aslan Gürbüz will receive outpatient care while under arrest.
