Earthquake hits Ağrı
AĞRI (DİHA) - An earthquake with 3.5 Richter scale magnitude took place in Ağrı.
The epicentre of the earthquake was the Aktarla village of Doğubeyazıt district in Ağrı. Bosporus University Kandilli Observatory Earthquake Research Institute stated that Aktarla village of Doğubeyazıt district in Ağrı was the epicentre of the earthquake of 3.5 magnitudes. The earthquake took place at 16:00 and 5.1 km beneath ground level.
While no loss of life and property has been reported so far, the earthquake created short-term panic in the area and was felt by people in nearby districts.
