2 girls dead in refugee camp fire
MARAŞ (DİHA) - Two girls died when a fire broke out in a refugee camp for Syrians in Turkey's Maraş province.
A fire broke out in a refugee camp with a population of more than 17,400 in Turkey's southern Maraş province, apparently due to an electrical problem. Firefighters attempted to stop the fire, but sisters Emine (3) and Hale Hammami (2) were wounded. The girls were rushed to the hospital in the Maraş city center, but could not be saved.
There is an investigation ongoing into the fire.
