Thousands join in HDP rally in Dersim
DERSİM (DİHA) - Thousands of people have filled in the rally of HDP at Seyid Rıza Square in southeastern province of Dersim.
As countdown has begun for June 7th general elections, the Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) is ongoing its election campaign under the motto of "Great Humanity". Today, the party has held a massive rally in southeastern province of Dersim.
Massive crowds of people flowed to the square decorated with the flags of HDP, DHF (Democratic Peoples' Federation), EMEK (Labour Party), ESP (Socialist Party of Oppressed) and Partizan. A massive poster of PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan has been opened in the rally.
The residents, coming from villages and nearby districts, have turned the square into array of bright colours and danced traditional Kurdish halays accompanied with HDP's election songs.
Numerous of placards and banners supporting the party's policy and manifest have been held by the citizens.
The rally is ongoing joyfully as HDP General Co-chair Selahattin Demirtaş will address to the crowd.
