Mardin turns its back at AKP, but embraces HDP
MARDİN (DİHA) - HDP has organized its most massive rally in southeastern province of Mardin. Various peoples, identities and beliefs joined the rally together. The residents of Mardin had turned their back on President Erdoğan and AKP officials, but now they have embraced the HDP.
The Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) is resuming its rallies under the motto of "Great Humanity", drawing massive crowds everywhere in Kurdistan and Turkey. The party has held its Batman rally today at Press Square. From 7 to 70, tens of thousands of people have flowed to the square and filled in the square. The youngs at the frontlines danced halays for hours and bore the flags of HDP.
Heart of various identities, languages and beliefs
The crowds of people opened Kurdish, Turkish, Arabic, Syriac and Assyriac placards and banners supporting the "New Life" manifest of the party in the rally. The residents of eastern province have emotionalised with the election songs of the HDP. Various identities and beliefs took part in the rally together in peace. Women put on their traditional Kurdish clothes and turned the square into array of bright colours. Various peoples, identities and beliefs joined the rally together.

The residents of Mardin had turned their back on President Erdoğan and AKP officials, but now they have embraced the HDP. The shopkeepers closed their shops and flowed to rally en masse. The massive crowds have heralded victory of June 7th from now on. The residents have promised in their slogans to punish the AKP at the ballot box.
One minute silence has been held in memory of all those who lost their lives in the struggle of freedom and democracy and the crowd shouted the slogan of "Long live Leader Apo" in the wake of respect silence. The crowd of people cried our slogans of "Freedom for Öcalan", "Long live resistance of Kobanê" and "No life without Öcalan".
The locals have given the message of full support to HDP deputy candidates. Mardin metropolitan co-mayors, HDP and DBP (Democratic Regions Party) provincal co-chairs saluted the mass.
HDP General Co-chair Selahattin Demirtaş will address to the massive crowd.
