Flood of people at HDP rally in Bitlis
BİTLİS (DİHA) - Tens of thousands of people have flowed to rally square of HDP in eastern province of Bitlis and declared their allout support for the party ahead of June 7th general elections.
The Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) is resuming its rallies under the motto of "Great Humanity". The party has held its Bitlis rally today at former industry field. Tens of thousands of people have flowed to the square and filled in the square. The youngs at the frontlines danced halays for hours and bore the flags of HDP, demanding "Freedom for Öcalan".
The crowds of people opened placards reading "Yes to Great Humanity" and banners supporting the "New Life" manifest of the party in the rally. The residents of eastern province of Kars have emotionalised with the election songs of the HDP. Tens of thousands bore posters of PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan and flags of PKK, KCK, YPG.
One minute silence has been held in memory of all those who lost their lives in the struggle of freedom and democracy and the crowd shouted the slogan of "Long live Leader Apo" in the wake of respect silence. The crowd of people cried our slogans of "Freedom for Öcalan".
Huge masses of people came from Adilcevaz, Ahlat, Güroymak, Hizan and Mutki districts and joined the rally.
The locals have given the message of full support to HDP Bitlis deputy candidates. Deputy candidates made short speeches and saluted the mass.
