İSTANBUL (DİHA) - Speaking at his party's massive election rally called "Great Humanity" at Kazlıçeşme Square in Istanbul, HDP General Co-chair Selahattin Demirtaş said, "The windows of their palace are trembling. Kandilli Earthquake Observatory gave a wrong alarm today. Kazliçeşme is shaking you, Kazlıçeşme," adding: "Rally of millions shattered the election threshold. HDP is the name of ointment. Peace and solution process will become permanent through success of the HDP".

HDP (Peoples' Democratic Party) General Co-chair Selahattin Demirtaş addressed to hundreds of thousands of people at his party's election rally called "Great Humanity" at Kazlıçeşme Square in Istanbul on Saturday. The crowds of people danced halays for hours and bore the flags of HDP.

'HDP has made a pluralist democracy apparent'

Demirtaş and his wife Başak Demirtaş saluted the massive crowd. "We are going through a crucial and historical crossing with upcoming election. This is the election of a joint life in our own country. This is the election of peace to be built," Demirtaş initiated his speech, saluting all th resisters from Gezi to Kobanê.

HDP has made a pluralist democracy apparent, uttered Demirtaş. "Now, all the coluors of Turkey came together at Kazliçeşme. Let Turkey become like this square. They (AKP and Erdoğan) polarized the country with a dirty policy. We will respect and salute each other in our country. We will build a pluralist democracy. We must heal our sore and tears. The HDP is the name of this ointment," added he.

'HDP is the assurance of peace and solution process'

Demirtaş spoke about peace process which was halted by President Erdoğan. "Peace and solution process will become permanent through success of the HDP. Sun of peace will rise on this country against dark clouds on June 8th. Mothers are deserving peace, we will present a permanent peace to all the mothers in the country. HDP is the assurance of peace and solution process. If Istanbul stands up, then the election threshold is shattered," remarked Demirtaş.

'Nightmare will end, your dreams will actually exist on June 7th'

HDP co-chair told about problems of women, as women chanted "Woman, life, freedom" slogan. He said, "If you want voice of women to rise in the parliament, its only address is the HDP. The women of HDP will manage the country. Don't you want co-prime minister at the parliament?". Demirtaş called on shopkeepers, youths and workers, "You are in a nightmare now. But, when HDP pass the election threshold on June 7th, nightmare will end, your dreams will actually exist."

Call on European voters

If the HDP will be carried to the parliament through efforts of youths, then Turkey will get rid of AKP, Demirtaş resumed his speech. HDP general co-chair called on the European voters, "Your votes will determine the fate of Turkey. Let you go to the polls and vote HDP."

'Rally of millions shattered election threshold'

All the HDP supporters and executives must resume our election campaign within the spirit of mobilization, Demirtaş underlined. "The windows of their palace are trembling. Kandilli Earthquake Observatory gave a wrong alarm today. Kazliçeşme is shaking you, Kazlıçeşme. Rally of millions shattered the election threshold," concluded Demirtaş.
