Yüksekdağ: We'll hold democracy vigil beside the ballot boxes
ANKARA (DİHA) - Speaking in her party's election rally in the capital city Ankara, HDP General Co-chair Figen Yüksekdağ said, "Ruling AKP has not taken the responsibility of election safety. We will hold democracy vigil beside the ballot boxes. We will hold people vigil against robbers," calling on Turkey's peoples to protect the ballot boxes.
Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) General Co-chair Figen Yüksekdağ joined her party's election rally and addressed to tens thousands of people in the capital city of Ankara. Yüksekdağ was met by a crowd of people consisting of HDP Ankara deputy candidates, HDP, and representatives of non-governmental organizations, and various peoples.
'We'll open door of New Life to the peoples'
The political rulings established the repressive administrations in Ankara, remarked Yüksekdağ. "These walls will lack of protecting the rulings. It is the parliament of people, but the people cannot enter into it. When you try to enter, they are arresting, oppressing, torturing and detainingf you. But, we'll open door of New Life' to the peoples," added she.
'AKP will get off, New Life will come'
HDP co-chair told about Gezi Park resistance and said, "The spirit of Gezi Park resistance is the spirit of HDP. This resistance will seize politics along with the HDP on June 7th. AKP will get off and New Life will come. We will keep our promise. We built bridge of New Life in Kobanê. We built fraternity of all the peoples. From Gezi to Kobanê, peoples will attain victory. We will salute ongoing Kobanê resistance on June 7th".
'Provocations cannot inhibit our ascent'
AKP ruling is threatening election safety with its tricks, provocations and attacks, Yüksekdağ warned. "AKP government is attacking on the HDP everywhere. It has ordered the hitmen to assault on us. Ruling AKP has not taken the responsibility of election safety. But, provocations cannot inhibit our ascent. We will hold democracy vigil beside the ballot boxes. We will hold people vigil against robbers," Yüksekdağ calling on Turkey's peoples to protect the ballot boxes.
