Önder: If we don't pass electoral threshold, they'll declare war
ANKARA (DİHA) - HDP Ankara deputy candidates addressed to tens of thousands of people at the party's election rally, underlining the HDP was the only solution for current problems of Turkey. MP Sırrı Süreya Önder said, "They are trying to leave the HDP below electoral threshold. If we do not pass the threshold, they will declare war in the second week".
The Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) Ankara deputy candidates addressed to tens of thousands of people at the party's election rally. HDP Ankara Deputy Candidate Gülsen Ülker took the stage, underlining the HDP was the only solution for current problems of Turkey. She added, "Our struggle is for solution. We are ongoing our election campaign. Countdown has begun. We will give the peoples a piece of good news of new life on June 8th".
'AKP ruling means death for workers'
Another deputy candidate Mahmut Menduh Uyan commemorated all Gezi victims on grounds of second anniversary of Gezi Park Resistance. Uyan drew attention on the struggle of Kurdish people, "The demands of Kurdish people are the most democratic and fundamental ones. They are demands of keeping the culture alive". He criticized the economical policy of AKP ruling, "Just like Soma and Ermenek, AKP ruling means death for the workers".

Later, Imrali Delegation member and HDP Ankara Deputy Candidate Sırrı Süreya Önder addressed to the crowd, saluting the mass both in Kurdish and Turkish. "They are trying to leave the HDP below electoral threshold. If we do not pass the threshold, they (AKP and Erdoğan) will declare war in the second week."
'AKP is preparing for war'
Önder put emphasis on corruption of AKP government and told about war preparations, "The remarks of Erdoğan and AKP officials are pro-war. We do not any war or bloodshed in this country anymore. Let you abandon such polices. They are preparing for war. They will kill our children in the second week".
The rally is ongoing with speech of HDP General Co-chair Figen Yüksekdağ.
