Hundreds of thousands flowing to Kazlicesme
İSTANBUL (DİHA) - Hundreds of thousands of people are flowing to Kazlicesme Square for "Great Humanity" rally of the Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP). The massive crowd are chanting slogans in support of "New Life" call of the party at the square.
The "Great Humanity" rally of the Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) has begun with the participation of hundreds of thousands of people. Groups of HDP supporters set out from different districts of Istanbul and came to the square. The residents are dancing halays and holding the flags of HDP.
Crowd screams 'Freedom for Öcalan'
The crowds of people opened the placards reading "If we forget Roboski, let our heart dry", "Freedom to peoples and beliefs", "We remember Gezi martyrs" and "We are marching towards freedom" were opened in the rally. The citizens are often chanting slogans of "Vote HDP", "Freedom for Öcalan", "Everywhere Gezi, everywhere resistance", "Long live resistance of Kobanê" and "Long live fraternity of peoples".
The residents of Istanbul have accompamied the election songs of the HDP and supported the party in their slogans. One minute silence has been held in memory of all those who lost their lives in the struggle of freedom and democracy and the crowd shouted the slogan of "Long live Leader Apo" in the wake of respect silence.
HDP Istanbul deputy candidates saluted the crowd. HDP General Co-chair Selahattin Demirtaş will address to the mass of people.
