BURSA (DİHA) - HDP General Co-chair Selahattin Demirtaş addressed to tens of thousands of people at his party's election rally in western province of Bursa, underlining that June 7th election is of crucial importance for Turkey. "There will be two choices at the polls. You will either vote dictatorship or freedom. You must be careful and think twice," Demirtaş said.

The Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) held its Bursa, a western province, rally on Friday at Bursa Merinos Park with the participations of tens of thousands of people. The crowds of people danced halays for hours and bore the flags of HDP. The mass often shouted the slogan of "Long live Leader Apo" and slogans in support of the HDP in the rally.

'We will put an end at merchant sultanate'

Dozens of placards and banners supporting HDP's election manifest and call for "New Life" have been opened by the people in the rally. HDP Bursa deputy candidates saluted the mass. Deputy Candidate Asiye Kolçak said, "HDP will put an end at the merchant sultanate on June 7th. We will not deliver our city Bursa to these merchants with iron heart."

'Either dictatorship or freedom'

HDP General Co-chair Selahattin Demirtaş addressed to tens of thousands of people coming together in the city. Demirtaş underlined June 7th election was of crucial importance for Turkey, adding, "There will be two choices at the polls. You will either vote dictatorship or freedom. You must be careful and think twice. As they (AKP officials) have taken more voters of the people, they have begun to feel themselves sultan."

'Davutoğlu is like trainee and apprentice'

Demirtaş criticized the election campaign conducted by both President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu. "President together with the PM are conducting a dirty election campaign across the country and trying to leave the HDP below 10 percent election threshold. They are conducting the campaign with the budget of state, not of the party. Namely, this money is of all of us. Davutoğlu cannot say anyhing to the president. Davutoğlu is like trainee and apprentice," HDP co-chair stated.

'We will get rid of their cruelty 7 days later'

"But, we will not let Erdoğan to oppress Davutoğlu. We will liberate him. We will get rid of their cruelty 7 days later. HDP will rise as hope of sun in 81 provinces of Turkey on June 5th," added he.

Call on people to be sensitive against provocations

Two people were killed and two were wounded as a result of an armed attack conducted by supporters of the radical Islamist Hür Dava Party Friday afternoon. Demirtaş spoke about this provocation by Hür Dava Party and called on people to be sensitive against provocations. "Be hand in hand be friendly. Noone is our enemity in this country. We are marching towards peace. Humanbeing and a life is more important than everything in the Parliament," HDP co-chair concluded.
