Call for 'New Life' spreading step by step
NEWS DESK (DİHA) - The parliamentary candidates of the HDP are resuming their election works across Kurdistan and Turkey. The candidates of "Great Humanity" visited peoples and non-governmental organizations and carried their call for "New Life" to the hind end of creation within the scope of their election campaign.
The Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) election campaign has gained speed across Kurdistan and Turkey. In southeastern province of Mardin, HDP Mardin Deputy Candidate and Prof. Dr. Mithat Sancar visited the shopkeepers in the central Derik district. Sancar, joined by co-mayors, spoke about upcoming June 7 elections. Meanwhile, HDP Mardin Deputy Candidate Enise Güneyli came together with villagers in several villages in the same district. Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (YNK) officials accompanied her.
HDP Batman deputy candidates Saadet Becerikli, Hasan Yağız and Ali Atalan, along with co-mayors, visited some associations, textile workshop and villages in the city and city's Kozluk district. The villagers embraced the candidates of "Great Humanity". Other candidate Ayşe Acar Başaran resumed her election campaign in Sason district.
In eastern province of Şırnak, HDP Deputy Candidate Aycan İrmez paid a visit to the police chief in Silopi district and talked about election safety. Silopi Co-mayor Seyfettin Aydemir, officials of HDP and Democratic Regions Party (DBP) companioned her.
Eastern Anatolian city of Malatya saw election campaign of HDP deputy candidates in the districts and villages. The candidates held people meetings in Ören town, Yazihan and Akçadağ districts. HDP Batman MP Ayla Akat Ata spoke here, saying each of the votes has a crucial importance.
Bingöl University Student Union (BÜÖ-DER) organized a festivity at the campus. Apart from hundreds of students, also HDP MP Candidate Hişyar Özsoy took part in the festivity. The students met Özsoy with slogans in support of HDP.
In Cukurova regional city Adana, HDP deputy candidates Tugay Bek, Hatice Kavran and Feride Peynirci gathered up with Arab Alawite citizens in the people meetings. Also, a festival was held in Seyhan district, joined by hundreds of people. The crowd chanted slogans in support of Kobanê resistance and HDP. Adana Deputy Candidate Meral Danış Beştaş said the fighters of Kobanê - pointing to YPG and YPJ forces - had defended honour of all humanity.
In Mersin, election campaign of the HDP is going on fast and furious. HDP deputy candidates Mehmet Taşçı, Nazım Aslan, Çilem Öz and Dengir Mir Mehmet Fırat visited shopkeepers and workers in Industry Site in Akdeniz district.
