İbrahim Yakut, wounded in bomb attack, discharged
ADANA (DİHA) - HDP official İbrahim Yakut, wounded in bomb attack at HDP headquarters in Adana province, has been discharged from hospital.
May 18th morning, several hours after a massive HDP rally in the city of Adana and with another election rally planned in the nearby city of Mersin for the day, two bombs went off simultaneously in the elections offices in the respective cities.
After being discharged, Yakut came to HDP headquarters where he had been wounded. HDP provincal executives and HDP deputy candidates met with at the entrance of building with flowers and applauses.
HDP Adana Provincal Co-chair Hüseyin Yıldız said, "Flower is symbol of peace, fraternity and freedom. But, they had forgotten humanity as to attack with flowers - pointing the bomb placed inside flowers. Peace and freedom will win in this country sooner or later".
