Former AKP voter: AKP is pulling votes with threats
BİNGÖL (DİHA) - HDP has become a unique party with its manifest called "Great Humanity" in especially Kurdistan ahead of June 7th general elections.
Former voters of ruling and AKP government and some opponent parties like CHP and MHP have begun to support the HDP. Former executive of AKP in eastern province of Bingöl, and AKP municipality council member Asaf Beki resigned from the AKP and joined the HDP.
After the open support of AKP to the gangs of Daesh in Kobanê and the party's attitude towards Kobanê, I realized the truth of AKP, said Beki, then I resigned from it. Beki called on Bingöl people, "All the people of Bingöl should see real face of AKP from now on. Let everybody say enough to cruelty of AKP. Every is required to vote HDP".
'I am in HDP for my future'
Baki criticized "HDP is pulling votes with threats" remarks of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu and AKP officials. "I am in the politics for 15 years. I never witnessed such a thing neither in the HDP nor other pro-Kurdish parties (BDP and DTP etc.) It is impossible to make firm this. However, AKP has always demanded votes with threats. AKP is threating citizens with money, work, and tender bids."
'If you do not vote me, I will not construct road in your village', this is only one of threats of AKP, Baki underlined. He concluded, "HDP is with oppressed, against tyrannts. We were late to support HDP. Everybody should support HDP. If the HDP does not enter the parliament, a chaos will take place in the country. I am in the HDP for my future."
