Message of 'We won't make you President' at Aegean Sea

İZMİR (DİHA) - The Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) is resuming its rallies under the motto of "Great Humanity".

The party has held its Izmir rally today at Gündoğdu Square. Over 100.000 people have flowed to the square and filled in the square. The youngs at the frontlines danced halays for hours and bore the flags of HDP, demanding "Freedom for Öcalan".

As the crowd filled the square, dozens of boats full of HDP supporters appeared at sea. The supporters opened a massive placard reading "We won't make you President" at Aegean Sea. The locals have given the message of full support to HDP Izmir deputy candidates.

The crowds of people opened placards and banners supporting the "New Life" manifest of the party in the rally. The residents of eastern province have emotionalised with the election songs of the HDP. Various identities and beliefs took part in the rally together in peace.

One minute silence has been held in memory of all those who lost their lives in the struggle of freedom and democracy and the crowd shouted the slogan of "Long live Leader Apo" and "Long live fraternity of peoples" in the wake of respect silence. The crowd of people cried our slogans of "Freedom for Öcalan".

Kürkçü: HDP will throw you into dustbin of history

Speaking in the rally, HDP Izmir Deputy Candidate and Mersin MP Ertuğrul Kürkçü said, "Izmir will give you a historical lesson at this election. HDP and the fraternity of people will throw you into dustbin of history. You have separeted this country, but the HDP will unite it sooner or later. We will liberate all the country. We will struggle together in order to build a fair and equal life for all the peoples".
