Yüksekdağ: Willpower of new life will take the stage on June 7th
ARDAHAN (DİHA) - Speaking in her party's election rally in Siirt, HDP General Co-chair Figen Yüksekdağ said, "Not the AKP government, but willpower of new life will take the stage on June 7th".
Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) General Co-chair Figen Yüksekdağ joined her party's election rally and addressed to thousands of people in eastern province of Ardahan. Yüksekdağ was met by a crowd of people consisting of HDP Ardahan, Artvin, Rize and Kars deputy candidates, HDP, DBP (Democratic Regions Party), and representatives of non-governmental organizations, Alevi, Terekeme, Azeri, Turkish and Kurdish peoples.
Thousands of people flowed to the square and filled in the square. The crowd met the HDP delegation with HDP flags and slogans in support of the party. Speaking in the wake of one minute respect silence, HDP Ardahan Deputy Candidate Arzu Moco saluted Mother Berfo and defined the HDP as the party of woman.
'Ardahan will back HDP from now on'
HDP General Co-chair Figen Yüksekdağ spoke about the problems of the city and told, "The AKP government has served only the capital, not city of Ardahan. They did not consturct a road for Ardahan yet. They saw Ardahan as the back yard. But, Ardahan will back HDP from now on".
All the peoples of Turkey came together under the roof of HDP from west province of Edirne to the eastern province of Ardahan, Yüksekdağ said.
'The only obstacle before new life is AKP'
Yüksekdağ underlined that it was only the AKP government before the new life of Turkey's peoples. "Not the AKP government, but willpower of new life will take the stage on June 7th. We are marching towards victory fast and furious. The dirty powers see this march very well. Thereof they have begun to carry out provocations, attacks, election tricks and dirty war applications. They will never set up a ruling with the language of war anymore," remarked she.
'AKP is responsible from the attacks on the HDP'
Condemning the attacks at HDP headquarters in Mersin and Adana once more, Yüksekdağ resumed her speech, "114 attacks have been carried out towards our party and hundreds of our officials have been wounded. The President is not objective, working for the AKP government. Prime Minister Davutoğlu and President are not providing the security. AKP is responsible from the attacks on the HDP".
The AKP government has entered into new agreements with contra gangs, Yüksekdağ said, calling on peoples to be careful against attempts of provocations.
The rally ended with the slogans of "Long live fraternity of peoples".
