Demirtaş: We'll use TOMAs to water flowers
MARAŞ (DİHA) - HDP General Co-chair Selahattin Demirtaş addressed to tens of thousands of people at his party's election rally in southeastern district of Pazarcik, underlining they would disarray election threshold hand in hand. "When HDP becomes ruling in the country, we will use TOMA - anti-riot water cannon vehicle - to water flowers," said Demirtaş.
The Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) held its Pazarcik, a southeastern district, rally today at Pazarcik square today with the participations of tens of thousands of people. The crowds of people danced halays for hours and bore the flags of HDP. The mass often shouted the slogan of "Long live Leader Apo" and slogans in support of the HDP in the rally.
Maraş Deputy Candidate Aziz Tunç, İstanbul 2nd Region Deputy Candidate Turgut Öker and Antep Deputy Candidate Celal Doğan saluted the mass of people, and then Demirtaş took the scene, saying they are going through a historical and crucial process.
'We'll disarray the election threshold'
The general elections are not carried out through a democratic competition, remarked Demirtaş. "This election is between lovers of democracy and lovers of dictatorship. There are some people who want to leave the country to a foreman - pointing to President Erdoğan. But, there are others who are resisting against this. Namely, these resisters are this people. We'll disarray the election threshold hand in hand all together," underlined Demirtaş.
'You can’t have election meeting with public money and insult us'
"They are running election campaigns unlawfully. It is a crime against the constitution to run a campaign with the public money. So called 'objective' President does in this way. Erdoğan is such an 'objective' president that he can’t even mention the name of his party, AKP even if it is as clear as a day. On June 7, we will beat you Erdoğan. Roam around if you want. Show yourself Eroğan and people can see that you are a liar. You already have money to burn but you can’t have election meeting with public money and insult us," HDP co-chair added.
'We'll bring each coin you spent in meetings to account'
Demirtaş resumed his speech: "Even though you are president living in a palace, you don’t have a right to commit crime. You are unfair and you behave against the legislation. We will bring each coin you spent in the election meetings to account after June 7. When budget law functions, you will answer to us."

"When HDP becomes ruling in the country, we will use TOMA - anti-riot water cannon vehicle - to water flowers. If a ruling relies on itself, it does not embrace to TOMAs, ammunition, police and military forces. It does not attack the people. If we become ruling, we will not teargas our people, or those protesting us. We will respect them," concluded Demirtaş.
