ANTEP (DİHA) - In southeastern province of Antep, 4 voters have been registered at a non-existent flat in a building.
As less than one months has left for the June 7th general elections, gerrymanders - election tricks - have begun to reveal out in the country. Voter information memorandums are mailed out in accordance with the register system in the city. In central Şahinbey district, four voters have been registered at a non-existent flat in Burak Apartment, 203rd Avenue, Güneykent.
Who are non-existent 4 people?
Apartment resident Faik Dursun said he noticed the situation when the voter information memorandums were distributed. Dursun told DİHA, "There are 15 flats in our apartment. But, there are four voters registered at non-existent flat 20. We came across with election tricks at previous elections. We are asking for such gerrymanders. We began to break out this tricks at our building".
'Election tricks began'
Another resident of building, Mehmet Demir, said they would work in order to inhibit such tricks for upcoming general elections, adding elections tricks began again.
