NEWS DESK (DİHA) - Dani Alves who plays for Spanish club FC Barcelona and the Brazilian national team as a right back called on Turkey to recognize the Armenian Genocide. A group of tennis players joined Alves in his appeal.

The Brazilian defender of the Catalan club Barcelona has called on Turkey to recognize the Armenian Genocide. Dani Alves, along with other prominent athletes, holds a poster with the following inscription on it: “Turkey, Recognize the Armenian Genocide”.

Armenian embassy to Spain posted on Facebook: “Thank you, Dani, for being with us. Gracias Dani, porestar con nosotros.”
