'Autonomous administration in Rojava should be implemented in all Syria'
QAMISHLO (DİHA) - Visit of Luey Hussein, the head of Restructuring Syria Movement, continues in Cizîre Canton. Hussein said that if Democratic Autonomy overcame some deficiencies, the movement would want to implement the same system in all Syria.
Center of the movement is in Damascus and Luey Hussein yesterday came to Qamişlo to hold meetings with officials of Democratic Autonomous Administration. Talking to ANHA reporter Ekrem Berekat, Luey gave important answers to the questions related to autonomy.
* What is the purpose of your visit to Cizîre Canton?
Our aim is to know more about project of Democratic Autonomous Administration and have a concrete idea about it. We wanted to see how successfully the project is implemented. We also wanted to see the deficiencies of the administration, to share ideas about how they will overcome these deficiencies, and discuss how we can spread this project into all Syrian regions.
* Do you follow the Democratic Autonomous Administration’s experiences in Rojava?
Unfortunately we have failed in knowing, understanding and following the developments of this experience. We have followed autonomy through the media. Such an experience may be the first but the importance of it is that it has been successful. It is extremely important that autonomous administration protects all citizens, ensure their rights and let people live in equal conditions.
* How do you perceive the ‘Kurdish Question’?
The ‘Kurdish Question’ has been discussed more after the revolutionary process started in Syria and now it is accepted as an issue. It is a complex and multifaceted issue. Kurds in Syria have suffered a lot for many years. It must be solved in a right way. It must be solved just like all other questions in Syria.
* How do you perceive ISIS’s attacks on Rojava? What do you think about why ISIS targets Rojava?
I do not understand why ISIS attacks Kurdish regions. However, YPG and YPJ forces defend cities, towns and regions of Rojava in a patriotic manner and with a strong resistance. We need such a patriotic syrian force that will clean Raqqa, Deir al-Zour and all other regions from ISIS and liberate them.
