YJA Star calls on women to stoke Newroz fire
NEWS CENTER (DİHA) - The YJA Star has celebrated Newroz and inviting all the peoples of the world to stoke the Newroz fire with the spirit created by the women’s revolution.
The YJA Star (Free Women Troops) Central Command has issued a message celebrating Newroz and inviting all the peoples of the world to stoke the Newroz fire with the spirit created by the women’s revolution. The statement recalled the legend of Kawa, saying the tradition of resistance has been made more meaningful by the values created today by the PKK and resistance martyrs.

The YJA Star statement stressed that the struggle waged by Kurdish women against the fascism of ISIS in Kobanê, Shengal and Kirkuk had a historic importance in demonstrating how to develop the self defence of women. The statement also emphasised the role played by women in creating the unity of peoples under the leadership of women, and said that those who deny the existence of the Kurdish question despite the great efforts for peace of the Kurdish People’s leader will receive the appropriate response at Newroz.
