Message of Öcalan to be read in March 8 rally at Kobanê border
URFA (DİHA) - As thousands of women have begun to rush to Mehser village at the borderline of Kobanê, it's been stated that March 8 rally message of PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan will be read in the rally.
Thousands of people are rushing to Mehser village bound to Suruç district of Urfa (Riha in Kurdish) at the borderline of Kobanê to join in the rally of March 8, International Working Women's Day. The posters of Viyan Soran, Arin Mirkan, Kader Ortakaya, Sakine Cansız, PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan and placards like "People cannot be free in a society in which women are not free", "Let's organize ourselves through the resisting spirit of Kobanê, let's life liberate life", "Promise of freedom, from Kobanê till Imrali" have been hung around the square.
Imralı Delegation member Ceylan Bağrıyanık, Democratic Society Congress (DTK) Co-chair Selma Irmak, Kars MP Mülkiye Birtane, and Fevziye Ebdi from Kobanê Canton will address to the mass in the rally. Also, it's been stated that March 8 rally message of PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan will be read in the rally.
Rush of women, in their local clothes, from various cities of Kurdistan and Turkey to the rally continues.
