Female traffic polices in Girkê Legê

GIRKÊ LEGÊ (DİHA) – Women in Rojava continue taking place in official and social institutions. Girkê Legê traffic police center employes three women.
The center was opened on March 1, 2014 and at the beginning 11 people were working there. 3 of the workers are women and they are known with their abilities to manage the traffic well. To prevent accidents and traffic problems from occuring, the center everyday in the morning have a meeting with its male and female workers and have briefing.
They work both at the center of the city and also on the roads to neighboring cities.
