PAJK: Honour of humanity defended in Kobanê
NEWS CENTER (DİHA) - Kurdistan Women’s Liberation Party (PAJK) Coordination has issued a statement in which it greeted the liberation of Kobanê from ISIS gangs.
PAJK remarked that the resistance in Kobanê in which the honour of humanity was defended, proved to the whole world that the Kurdish people and liberation fighters will continue to spread this freedom to the world. The statement of PAJK put particular emphasis on the resistance of women in Kobanê, recalling the brave act of self-sacrifice by Arin Mirxan. Greeting the YPG/YPJ fighters and their resistance, PAJK stressed that this victory is a gift for not only the Kurdish people but for all the peoples of the world as well. “We commemorate those who fell in the 134-day long resistance to the ISIS gangs, the enemies of humanity and of women.”
'Kobanê resistance ensured national unity'
PAJK emphasised that the attacks on Kobanê started as a result of a joint operation by those against the free future of the Kurdish people, and targeted not only Kobanê but also the gains of the Rojava revolution and the existence of the Kurdish people in other parts of Kurdistan. “The fall of Kobanê would lead up to the fall of the whole Kurdistan. All the plans were grounded on consideration”, it noted. The statement stressed that the Kurdish people in response carried the struggle in defense of Kobanê to the international arena in all the places they live, and that the Kobanê resistance has eliminated the borders in Kurdistan and ensured the formation of a national and public unity and solidarity. PAJK added that the Kobanê resistance has become an international one as the fight has been joined by many other revolutionaries defending freedom and world peace.
'True colour of resistance determined by Arîn Mirxan'
The statement by PAJK stressed that the true colour and course of the resistance in Kobanê has been determined by the struggle of women, symbolised by Arin Mirxan, adding that the resistance of YPJ fighters made the ISIS fascism kneel down and desert the borders of Kobanê. “This example set by the struggle of female freedom fighters has given courage and confidence to the women of the world and proved that it is the struggle of women themselves, primarily the Kurdish ones and those of the Middle East, that will overthrow the male dominant system of this world”, said PAJK.
The PAJK statement added that their ideology and stance for women's freedom will continue to be a light and lead the struggle for the realization of a democratic autonomous system and for the liberation of the world's women.
