URFA (DİHA) - While the resistance of YPG and YPJ fighters in the Kobanê Canton of Rojava enters 50th day, everyday representatives of various sides and identities are visiting the vigil of resistance at the border line.

Thousands of people are maintaining the resistance vigil at the Kobanê-Suruç border in order to draw attention to the attacks carried out by the ISIS (Islamic State of Iraq and al Sham) gangs on Kobanê, to provide the security of the border and to give support to the humanitarian resistance of Kobanê. New groups are taking over the vigil every day, and creating a human chain which has become a tradition of the vigil to greet the resistance of Kobanê. The people carried the pictures of the PKK leader Abdullah Öcalan, chanting the slogans “long live the YPG-YPJ resistance", "greetings to İmralı, and "Kobanê will be a grave for ISIS gangs”.

'Kobanê is matter of not only Kurds, but all of us'

Koç University Historical Sociology Faculty post graduate Ceren Gülbudak has joined in the vigil of resistance and said: "The resistance against Daesh gangs in Kobanê has a great meaning for me. Therefore, now I am at the border line. The war there is against the democratic life model being formed in Kobanê. Kobanê is the matter of not only Kurds or Kurdistan, but all of us."

'Humans know where is Kobanê just like New York anymore'

Another citizen joining in the vigil from Sweden, Murat Kanlıbaş told: "I have joined in this vigil as I want to make children from Kobanê laughed. Solidarity from different identities and culture with Kobanê is very meaningful. Everybody must come here and give support. Such a resistance has never been seen in the world. Humans know where is Kobanê just like New York anymore."

'I came to defend my own revolution'

Bosphorous University Philosophy Faculty doctoral student Olcay Çelik underlined: "I do not have a relation with Kurdistan geography individually. However, I came to defend my own revolution. Kobanê residents have been exposed to barbarity of ISIS gangs."
