YPG: Comrade Paramaz gained more strength to Kobanê resistance
KOBANÊ (DİHA) - The YPG has announced the death of Suphi Nejat Ağırnaslı, a member of the Marxist-Leninist Communist Party of Turkey (MLKP) who was martyred in clashes with ISIS in Kobanê.
Nejat – also known by his codename Paramaz Kızılbaş – was commemorated by the YPG (People's Protection) in a written statement. The statement reads in part: "With his determination and attitude of struggle a MLKP revolutionary and one of our comrades proved that the Rojava Revolution means a Middle East Revolution. We are announcing that he was martyred in the resistance in Kobanê. Our comrade Paramaz Kızılbaş, who lent his support to the glorious resistance being carried out in Kobanê in order to build a free future for our people, passed into immortality in the honorable struggle against the savage ISIS gangs who are the enemy of our people.
'Victory will belong to our peoples who are struggling shoulder to shoulder'
We remember comrade Paramaz – who in the days when Kobanê was first surrounded showed an important revolutionary attitude by joining the resistance and was an example of solidarity to the whole world – with respect, and all our people join in offering condolences to his family and his comrades in struggle. Just as we did for the MLKP revolutionary and our comrade Yılmaz (Serkan Tosun) who joined the Rojava revolution and was martyred in Serêkaniyê on September 14th, 2013, we renew our promise to our comrade Paramaz to make his memory live on in our struggle. Victory will belong to our peoples who are struggling shoulder to shoulder against reactionary fascism.”
Paramaz (Suphi Nejat Ağırnasl) was born in Konya on September 22nd, 1984 and lost his life in Kobanê on October 5th.
