Huge anti-ISIS banner in Marseille
NEWS CENTER (DİHA) - A group of Kurdish youths in Marseilles in France have made a huge banner in order to draw attention to the massacres carried out by ISIS (Islamic State of Iraq and al Sham) gangs in Sinjar (Shengal).
The banner, which is more than 80 metres long and contains slogans and pictures of the massacres in Rojava and Sinjar by ISIS gangs was opened at the Vieux Port, a popular tourist destination. The 80-metre banner was shown at a crowded time and attracted the attention of people in the area. The action was turned into a collective platform with the participation of French people and socialists.
Books by PKK (Kurdistan Workers' Party) leader Abdullah Öcalan translated into French were distributed and signatures for the freedom of Öcalan were collected.
