Coal mine workers launch act
ŞIRNAK (DİHA) - Coal mine workers in Şırnak, who came to the agenda when their powers were cut and their works in the mines were stopped, launched an action after set a tent at Şırnak-Cizre highway.
Their powers were cut on Friday and they turned into darkness. Then, the workers marched city center and protested the situation. Last night, hundreds of coal mine workers, drivers and citizens set a tent at Şırnak-Cizre highway. The placard reading "Do not close coal mines which are the only source of livelihood for people in Şırnak" was opened by the coal mine workers.
'I don't want my father's death in fugutive coal mine, employ him'
The children and wives of the coal mine workers also participated into the act. One of the children opened the banner reading "I don't want my father's death in fugutive coal mine, employ him". Non-governmental organizations will visit the coal mine workers at upcoming hours.
