Unemployment rate increases; 3 million 802 thousands are unemployed

ANKARA (DİHA) – Unemployment rate increased to % 16.1 percent and 3 million 802 thousands.
The Turkish Statistical Institute or (DİE) released the rate of unemployment for February in Turkey.
According to data released by DİE the rate of unemployment increased to % 16.1 percent from 15.5 and number of unemployed become 3 million 802 thousands. This rate was 11.6 at the same time last year.
It is also stated in the report that this rate, as 16.1, is the highest unemployment rate.
On the other hand the young unemployment rate was also increased to 28.6 from 21.5 in February while non agricultural unemployment rate was being 19.8.
