2 of minors wounded in Kobanê referred to Diyarbakır 2015-09-28 20:36:02 URFA (DİHA) - A mine previously laid by ISIS gangs exploded amid a group of children playing outside in Boban village to the south of Kobanê yesterday evening. The mine explosion left eight children wounded, whose names are Şevin Ferhat (10), Lava Ferzad (10), Ferzad Mihemed (10), Hamudê Ferzad (7), İnas Mihemed (6), Ronas Mihemed (8), Malva Ferzad (7) and Berivan Teyyar (7). While the wounded children were taken to Suruç State Hospital in the bordering Northern Kurdistan town, 5 among them were later referred to hospitals in Urfa province. Ferzad Mihemed has been taken under treatment at Balıklıgöl State Hospital in Urfa, while Berivan Teyyar and Malva Farzad, who both are in critical condition, were referred from Urfa Mehmet Akif İnan Training and Research Hospital to Diyarbakır Training and Research Hospital. As Hamudê Ferzad and İnas Mihemed received first treatment at Harran University Medical Faculty Hospital in Urfa, İnas was later referred to the Private Meydan Hospital. Ronas Mihemed, Lava Ferzad and Şevin Ferhat have been discharged from Suruç State Hospital where they were treated. While the two children referred to Amed have been taken under surgery after losing their hands in the mine explosion, the others in Urfa are reported to be recovering. (nt)
