KCK Executive Council Member Mustafa Karasu stated that the massacre in Suruç targeted the solidarity struggle of socialists in Turkey as well as the global solidarity embodied in day of Kobanê. Karasu spoke to ANF on yesterday's massacre in Suruç which he said was a result of Turkey’s alliance with ISIS, holding AKP as directly responsible for the bombing. Karasu reminded their warnings that current AKP politics would bring massacres into Turkey, and warned that more attacks could take place in other parts of Turkey. ‘Socialisrs' solidarity struggle was targeted with this massacre' Commemorating the young people who died during the massacre and promised to bring their struggle for freedom and democracy to success, Karasu said that the attack on socialist youth aiming to rebuild Kobanê targeted the solidarity struggle of socialists in Turkey as well as the global solidarity embodied in day of Kobanê. He also saluted all socialists and revolutionary democrats from Turkey and other parts of the world. ‘AKP is responsible for this massacre' KCK Executive Council Member stated that the AKP-ISIS partnership caused this massacre and AKP was directly responsible because of its support to ISIS, and reminded that AKP turned Turkish borders into ISIS camps and logistic centers, which enabled ISIS to carry out activities primarily in Cerablus and Til Ebyad. Karasu recalled the democracy forces had warned AKP about its policies risk of bringing massacres into Turkey, and said that massacres such as the ones in Amed and Suruç could be repeated in other parts of Turkey. Pointing out that the AKP-ISIS alliance based on enmity towards Kurds has thrown Turkey into a dirty war, and both the Turkish state and the AKP government would be accomplices of massacres if they continue their anti-Kurdish stances, Karasu called on the Turkish state and the AKP government to stop its enmity towards Kurds as this enmity puts Turkey in alliance with the most hated groups and states in the world. He emphasized that the Turkish state and the AKP government were directly responsible for the massacre in Suruç. ‘AKP extended war to Northern Kurdistan with this massacre' Reminding the AKP’s declaration of war against the Kurdish movement before the elections and said that AKP deepened its approach and extended the war to North Kurdistan with this massacre, Karasu stated that the AKP’s goal of forcing guerillas to abandon their arms in order to leave Kurdish people defenseless aimed at putting Kurds through genocide. KCK Executive Council Member emphasised that the guerillas will never leave Kurdish people defenseless and AKP was doing the dirty work that it cannot do itself through fascist gang in order to put Kurds through physical and cultural genocide. Karasu pointed out that Tayyip Erdoğan and AKP would be prosecuted in international criminal courts if they continue their dirty politics. He said that the AKP support to ISIS had been documented and the whole world should know that this support made the massacre in Suruç possible. ‘Democracy forces should struggle more' Karasu stated that only peoples’ joint struggle could stop the dirty wars of AKP and ISIS targeting Kurdish and Turkish peoples, and called upon Kurdish people and all democracy forces to resist AKP policies and struggle more. KCK Executive Council Member warned that people should take Suruç massacre to the streets and protest it in order to prevent future massacres, because AKP and Erdoğan are not democratic and would continue its dirty politics in order to take Turkey under hegemonic control. Karasu called on democracy and freedom forces to struggle more in order to democratize Turkey and liberate Kurdistan, and stated that they would never forget the support of socialist and revolutionary youth and groups to Kobanê. Condemning the perpetrators of the massacre in Suruç. Karasu ended his statement by inviting all peoples and democracy forces to struggle against AKP, the main perpetrator of the massacre in Suruç.
